IQ Option Login: Sign In, Open an Account and Fix Access Problems
Log in to IQ Option at iqoption.com or in the official apps. Malaysia is not on IQ Option's restricted list. This page also covers signing up, verification and the usual login problems.
Where to log in to IQ Option
IQ Option's official addresses are iqoption.com and login.iqoption.com, and the web traderoom is at iqoption.com/traderoom. It runs in a browser with nothing to install, in the Android and iPhone apps, and in desktop apps for Windows and macOS.

Fake login pages and fake IQ Option staff
- Only the addresses above are official. Check the address before you type your password.
- Our advice: treat anyone on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook or by phone who presents as "IQ Option staff" or an "account manager" with suspicion. IQ Option is execution-only: it doesn't trade for clients. Nobody legitimate asks for your password, SMS code, remote access, or a transfer to a person's bank account.
- Facebook pages called "IQ Option Malaysia" that show a Malaysian mobile number appear in Google for "iq option malaysia". IQ Option's official contacts list no Malaysian phone number, so treat those pages as unofficial. We don't name or link them.

How to log in step by step
- Open iqoption.com or login.iqoption.com in your browser, or open the Android, iPhone or desktop app.
- Log in with your email or phone number and your password, or press the Google or Facebook button.
- Click the balance at the top right to switch between your demo and real accounts.
If you signed up with Google or Facebook, use the same button every time. The desktop apps need a password: click "Forgot password?" and use the email linked to that Google or Facebook account to set one.
Demo and real accounts share one login. The demo refills to $10,000 for free, and demo profits are virtual and can't be withdrawn. Our demo account guide shows how to use it. Use one browser tab while trading.
How to sign up for IQ Option from Malaysia
- Open IQ Option's sign-up page.
- Choose Malaysia as your country of residence.
- Enter your email and a password of at least 6 characters, or continue with Google or Facebook.
- Tick the box confirming you are 18 or older and accept the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Order Execution Policy.
- Complete the captcha and click "Create an account".
- Your $10,000 demo account is ready at once.
The real account starts with your first deposit. The minimum is RM42 by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Volet, RM50 by Maybank, CIMB or another Malaysian bank (via Help2Pay) and RM100 by DuitNow QR. At the first deposit you choose the account currency: MYR, USD, EUR or GBP. You can't change it later. Choose MYR if you pay from a Malaysian bank, because other currencies mean a 4% conversion fee.
You must be 18 or older, and an underage account is closed with a $20 penalty. You can have one account only, because a second can get all your accounts closed and your trades voided.
Enter your real name exactly as on your MyKad or passport and as in your online banking. Help2Pay rejects or delays payments when the names don't match.

You can deposit and trade before you verify, but you can't withdraw until the account is verified. Once verified, see how to withdraw.

Checking usually takes up to 3 business days. IQ Option's terms allow longer in some cases.
If IQ Option asks for documents, send them within 7 days. After 14 days without them, the account can be closed.
Payments must come from and go to accounts in your own name. Third-party payments are returned, and profits made with them are voided.
Can I withdraw before verifying?
No. You can withdraw only after the account is verified. Meanwhile you can deposit and trade, and the demo account works at once.
Can't log in? Fixes by symptom
I forgot my password
You can't remember your password, or the one you try is rejected.
Fix: click "Forgot password?" on the login page and enter the registered email. Open IQ Option's email, follow the link and set a new password.
"Login limit exceeded"
This message appears after too many wrong passwords.
Fix: wait a while and try again, or reset your password instead of guessing. The block is temporary.
The SMS code doesn't arrive
Two-step authentication sends a code by SMS to your registered phone at each login.
Fix: check the phone number on the account and your phone signal. Wait a minute before you ask for another code. If it still fails, contact support.
I signed up with Google or Facebook
You have no separate IQ Option password.
Fix: use the same Google or Facebook button you signed up with. If you need a password too, for the desktop app for example, click "Forgot password?" and use the email linked to that Google or Facebook account.
The page or app won't load
The login page doesn't open, or the app won't start.
Fix: clear your cookies and cache, then try again. If it still fails, try a private window, another browser, or the app.
"IQ Option is currently unavailable in your country"
Malaysia is not on IQ Option's restricted list (restricted countries include the USA, Canada, Australia, EU/EEA, UK, Russia and Japan). The message usually means a VPN, a foreign IP while you travel, or the wrong country on the account.
Fix: switch off any VPN and try again. If it keeps happening, check the country on your account and email support@iqoption.com. VPN or VPS use breaks IQ Option's terms and can get the account closed and profits voided, so don't use one to get around a block.
Why IQ Option blocks accounts, and what you can do
IQ Option's terms let it block or close an account, and the reason decides whether you can get it back.

A "Login limit exceeded" message is temporary, not a block.
Inactivity doesn't block an account. After 90 days with no trade or deposit, IQ Option charges €10 a month, and logging in doesn't count.
When you write to support about a blocked account, include your account email, account ID, what happened and when, and screenshots.

IQ Option has no Malaysian office and no Malaysian phone number. Malaysian clients are served by Sky Ladder LLC, Antigua and Barbuda.
Never share your password or an SMS code with anyone, including someone who says they work for IQ Option.
If you have been scammed, report it to the NSRC on 997. To check a bank account, use PDRM Semak Mule at semakmule.rmp.gov.my.
Account security and closing your account
Switch on two-step authentication in Settings → Security. It sends an SMS code to your registered phone at each login.
If your account has moved to IQ Option's new platform, menu names can differ. Ask support.
How to close your account
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Click "Close Account".
Before you close
- Withdraw your balance.
- Close your open positions.
- An active bonus blocks withdrawals until its wagering is done or the bonus is cancelled.
Either side can also end the agreement with 15 days' written notice. IQ Option keeps verification documents and transaction records for at least 7 years after closing, under anti-money-laundering rules. See also closing your account.
