Download the IQ Option App: Pick the Right Version and Install It Safely
IQ Option works on Android, on iPhone and iPad, on a Windows PC or laptop, on a Mac and in your browser. All five are free and share one account. The browser version needs no install, and on Android we recommend the IQ Option X APK from iqoption.com.
Which version should you use?
Every button below opens IQ Option's own download or store page, never a mirror site.
On Android, use the IQ Option X APK; on an iPhone or iPad, the App Store. On a computer, the desktop app draws charts faster than a browser, though the web version works if you can't install software. Once you are in, the platform section of our review covers what the platform offers.

IQ Option X (APK) for Android
IQ Option X is IQ Option's Android app for options trading, and IQ Option says its layout is close to the desktop version. It is about 51 MB and needs Android 8.1 or later. Download the file IQOptionX.apk from iqoption.com only.
Why you download it from iqoption.com only
An APK is an installer file you handle yourself, so the source matters. The button below leads to IQ Option's own file. A copy from a mirror site, a Telegram channel or a "modded" version can carry malware or steal your login.
How to install IQ Option X on Android
- On your phone, open IQ Option's download page with the button above and download
IQOptionX.apk. - When Android asks, allow "Install unknown apps" for your browser.
- Open the downloaded file and tap "Install".
- Open the app, then log in or sign up. The $10,000 demo is ready.
To update the app, install the new APK over the old one.
The "Install unknown apps" setting
Android asks for this permission when you open an APK file. Allow it for the browser (or file manager) you used to open the file.
IQ Option on Google Play
The IQ Option app on Google Play comes from developer Sky Ladder LLC. Other apps with "IQ Option" in the name show up there too, so check the developer before you install.
Open Google Play- Open Google Play and search for "IQ Option".
- Check that the developer is Sky Ladder LLC.
- Tap "Install".
- Open the app and log in.
IQ Option on iPhone and iPad
The App Store lists the app as "IQ Option - Trading Broker". It needs iOS 15.0 or later and is about 179 MB (App Store figure, September 2026).
Open the App Store- Open the App Store and search for "IQ Option - Trading Broker".
- Tap "Get".
- Open the app and log in.
Download IQ Option for PC (Windows)
To install IQ Option on a PC or laptop, use the Windows desktop app. It comes as an .msi file from iqoption.com, runs on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 and needs 2 GB of RAM (4 GB recommended). Desktop apps draw charts faster than a browser.
- Download the
.msifile from iqoption.com with the button above. - Run the file.
- If SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click "More info", then "Run anyway". Do this only for the file from iqoption.com.
- Follow the setup wizard.
- Open IQ Option and log in.
Download IQ Option for Mac
The Mac app is a .dmg file from iqoption.com, built for Apple chip and Intel Macs. It needs macOS 10.14 Mojave or later and 2 GB of RAM (4 GB recommended).
- Download the
.dmgfile from iqoption.com with the button above. - Open it and drag IQ Option into Applications.
- On the first launch, right-click the app and choose "Open" to get past Gatekeeper.
- Log in.
Use IQ Option in your browser
Open iqoption.com/traderoom in any current browser and log in. You can also add it to your phone's home screen so it opens like an app.

- On iPhone (Safari), tap Share and choose "Add to Home Screen".

Download IQ Option only from iqoption.com, Google Play (developer Sky Ladder LLC) or the App Store.
- APK mirror sites such as Uptodown and Aptoide are third-party. "Modded" or "hacked" APKs and "free robot" or script downloads can carry malware or steal your login.
- Never type your IQ Option password into an app from anywhere else.

Fix common install problems
Android refuses to open IQOptionX.apk.
Fix: allow "Install unknown apps" for the browser you used to download the file, then open the file again.
Your phone warns you about the risk of installing an APK.
Fix: continue only if the file came from iqoption.com. If it came from anywhere else, delete it.
Google Play or the App Store says your device is not supported, or the phone is too old.
Fix: use the IQ Option X APK (Android 8.1 or later) or the web version.
Windows or your antivirus stops the installer or removes it.
Fix: for SmartScreen, follow the Windows steps above. For antivirus, add the installer to its exclusions.
The app shows a graphics or OpenGL error when you install or open it.
Fix: install the latest graphics driver from AMD, NVIDIA or Intel.
You installed the app, but login fails.

Fix: switch off any VPN and see login problems and fixes. A VPN breaks IQ Option's terms.

Which Android or iOS version do I need?
IQ Option X for Android needs Android 8.1 or later. The iPhone app needs iOS 15.0 or later. If the store says your phone is not compatible, use the APK (Android 8.1 or later) or the web version.
